Goodstart Oxley

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Oxley is located in a safe and secure pocket of suburbia. The centre is within walking distance of the local state school, shops, transport and parks, while making the daily drop-off and pick-up convenient.

Our centre is a 75 place centre, purpose built with four large rooms caring for children from fifteen months to five years – Toddlers to Kindergarten. 

The educators at the centre are dedicated to Early Childhood Education and come with many years’ experience, and are committed to high quality care. Our friendly, dedicated team of educators have been employed at our centre from three years to 15 years. All our educators are qualified in the field of child care and education as well as first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis.

Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework. We develop holistic, rich, fun and supportive programs accounting for each child’s individual interests needs and strengths: and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take that all-important transition to school.

Our Story park platform, as well as regular family nights, weekly updates and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surroundings and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. We have multiple shaded areas for our children to explore and challenge their skills and independence with the sandpit, bark pit, climbing equipment, bike track and rock water area.

Healthy eating is important for brain and physical development. Knowing this we have a cook at the centre providing tasty and nutritious meals for the children. From Breakfast through to afternoon tea, our menu is a six week rotating menu covering all seasons and dietary requirements

Community is also a major focus to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events, activities and excursions throughout the year we are able to enrich the children’s learning experience and participation in the local community along with building a deep relationship and connection between the centre and community. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
