Catering to children aged six weeks to five years old, our five-room centre offers quality educational programs which focus on all areas of development, including social/emotional skills, maths, science and nature - all supporting the Early Years' Learning Framework. Children are often involved in small group activities to encourage sustained, shared thinking were everyone can have a turn and be involved. 
 
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Albany Creek – Dawn Road is located in a residential area, close to schools, shops and community facilities as well as public transport; so the daily drop-off and pick up is less stressful!

Educators at the centre are all highly experienced and provide a stimulating and challenging curriculum for child development. A range of learning environments are set up for children to participate in and stimulate different developmental areas, giving children the freedom to choose the activity they wish to join.

Natural, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
 
Our Storypark platform and weekly Family newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.

Our centre has a lovely bird called BB, who is a budgie that was donated to the centre by one of the neighbours. BB has become a part of our Centre and the children love help take care of him.

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year along with our Dawn Road Calendar of Events we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
