Goodstart Cheltenham

At Goodstart Early Learning Cheltenham we have four bright spacious rooms and three playgrounds. All of our staff are well trained and many are long-standing and children are offered a cosy, comfortable and safe learning environment with endless opportunities.

Goodstart Cheltenham is a heritage listed building located in the heart of Cheltenham, within walking distance of Southland shopping centre and convenient public transport, in a quiet tree lined street with ample car parking.

Inclusions:

• We have three bachelor qualified teachers
• We celebrate diversity and have a variety of languages and backgrounds, including Bengali, Spanish, Greek, French, Indian, Mandarin and Sri Lankan
• We utilise key educator relationships to strengthen bonds with children and families
• Our on-site cook prepares five nutritionally balanced meals every day

About our rooms:

All of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities.

Our centre is warm, welcoming and provides  holistic environments ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop. We are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

Our nursery has its own outdoor play area designed to be adventurous as well as very safe zone for younger age group. Our other two playgrounds offer lots of messy play options as well as opportunities to embed sustainable practices like caring for veggie gardens and worm farm. We are equipped with sandpit and water feature, mud patch, bike tracks, water trough and an undercover veranda – as well as lots of shade.

Keeping in touch:

 We use the Storypark app, as well as regular family events and emailed updates, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. Two-way communication means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Community activities:

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity. We also have a lovely community garden.
