Goodstart Moama

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Moama is situated in the heart of the Riverina in a residential area close to schools, shops and local amenities.

Our centre’s team is focused on achieving the highest possible quality of care by providing a variety of detailed and aesthetically pleasing activities for children aged six weeks to six years.

Variety and flexibility play a vital role in the planning of the day to day activities at Goodstart Moama. Every child is given a choice and independence is greatly encouraged through flexible play.

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
 
Our Storypark platform, as well as family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our two outdoor areas have sensory gardens, a vege table garden, sandpit, worm farm, undercover verandah and lots of shaded space for the children to explore.

All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients.

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity. We openly welcome all input. We are dedicated to making our child care centre as warm, safe and as friendly for our children and their families as possible.
