We're a fun, caring place and we tap into children's natural curiosity from six weeks to school-age. We'll develop their creativity, problem-solving and social skills, making resilient learners for school and life.

At Goodstart Belair, we believe in fostering a love of learning from an early age. Our curriculum is designed to cater to each child's individual needs, promoting cognitive, social, and emotional development through play-based learning activities.  We have a strong commitment and focus to create a warm and welcoming community focused centre and we look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children.
Our team of experienced and dedicated educators are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children. With a focus on building strong, positive relationships, we go out of our way to see your child feel valued and supported every day.
Safety is our top priority and we look after our centres. They're intentionally designed to make the best use of our early learning resources and our settings are enriching and engaging. From spacious outdoor play areas to well-appointed learning spaces, we'll have many things that meet your child's interests and individual needs. 
Our centre features six separate, naturally inspired learning spaces, each with direct access to our landscaped designed outdoor environment providing children with the opportunity to move freely between the indoor and outdoor. The beautiful outdoor play was designed around the protected gum trees (where our lovely Koala friends live) and features our signature South Australian coloured arbour, natural enclosed quiet areas, sensory play and sandpits with water play.
Our beautiful outdoor dining hub connects our learning spaces to the playground and provides a shaded, outdoor dining space for all children and educators.  Our onsite kitchen with child-height servery allows our centre cook to serve and interact with our children and engage in cooking and preparing meals.
If your child attends childcare with us, they can stay with us until they start school. At Goodstart Belair, we offer a government-assessed and approved preschool program. This curriculum is designed as a part of the Australian government's early years learning framework and it's delivered by bachelor-qualified early childhood teachers. This early education program applies across the country with school readiness in mind.
We understand the demands of modern families. That's why we offer flexible hours to meet your family's schedule and your child's needs. We believe all children deserve the best possible start in life, and that includes access to quality early childhood education and care. We offer:

Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one key educator who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. Excellent new facility, the staff are so friendly and form strong bonds with the children. The facility Director is also very astute and great to deal with too. She really cares for her team and the children, and it shows!

As our time at Goodstart Belair comes to a close this week I want to thank you all for your care and support in educating and caring for the youngest two of our grandchildren. We are delighted with their progress and development and as a new season begins next week we just want to say thank you and we will miss you all.

I cannot recommend this centre enough! The educators are really passionate about what they do and the level of care they show the children is phenomenal. We explored many centres, but this by far was the best for us for an array of reasons. Our daughter is so happy here!

Silky Sandhu

Centre Director

Hi, my name is Silky and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Belair.

I have been in the Early Learning industry for over 13 years. I am not only passionate about mentoring Educators and ensuring each child’s learning is led by endless possibilities, but also passionate about leading with my team. I am always keen to share my knowledge and help others grow. I am passionate about advocating for children voices and importance of high-quality Education in Early Childhood.

I began my journey right after I finished my Bachelor in 2007. In India I worked as a primary school teacher and pursued Master of Mass Communication while I was working. Then I got married and moved to Australia in 2009.

Whilst I was a student studying a Diploma of Early Childhood, my passion for teaching children started again in the sector as an Assistant in the Nursery room.

I eventually progressed into a Qualified Assistant in the Toddler room, then worked my way up from Room Leader andt then to Senior Educator in the Pre-Kindy room. Following that I worked as and Educational Leader at Goodstart Early Learning and then as an Assistant Centre Director.

There has been lot of learning and valuable experiences in my 13 years of Early Education. I have learnt how important Early Education is for children’s lifelong learning journey. I really looking forward to meeting you all in person. It’s a great feeling to meet new families and get to know children from different cultural backgrounds.
