Goodstart Dubbo Baird Drive

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Dubbo - Baird Drive is located in West Dubbo, close to local primary schools and a shopping complex. The centre offers convenient parking facilities and is also easily accessible via the local bus route.

Our service caters for children aged from six weeks to five years. The facility was purpose-built and features a fully-operational kitchen, allowing our chef to prepare nutritionally balanced meals for the children.

All of our educators are fully qualified and have varied interests, talents and skills, which allows us to provide a broad educational experience to the children at our centre.

Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
 
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, stage, outdoor eating areas, vege patches, fixed climbing equipment, cubby house and lots of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
 
Our centre communicates with families through face-to-face conversations, emails, parent pockets, and phone calls. We also use our new Storypark platform to involve families in the development of their child, share milestones and maintain clear communication. We welcome parent input and involvement with our service, and hold a number of special events throughout the year which we encourage families to attend.

We have been operating in the community for almost a decade, and maintain strong community links through projects, excursions and staff training opportunities. We work in close conjunction with local community health services including early intervention specialists and speech pathologists.
