Goodstart Proserpine

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Proserpine is conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre. Our centre is located near many local businesses including grocery stores, schools and our local hospital. 

Our childcare centre caters to the needs of children ranging from six weeks to school age. We aim to be an inclusive centre and welcome all new families.

Our educators at Goodstart Proserpine consist of a diverse team with members varying in ages and experience. Our team includes 2 degree-qualified Early Childhood Teachers who delivers our Queensland Government approved Kindergarten program.

Inside, all the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.

We strive to achieve the best quality care for the children in our centre and believe this is possible through open communication with all our families. This is made simpler through our intuitive Story Park platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.

A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we can deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
