• What’s the centre environment like?

  Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our outdoor learning spaces have great equipment, and fun things to do that both support children's physical, social and intellectual development. 

  We have a wonderful cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are halal, healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods and specific dietary requirements. 

  We are lucky enough to have a community room that we use for our Playgroup. We run this service in conjunction with our local council on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning. We offer this service to local vulnerable families in our community enhancing our connections with our community. Dandenong Neighbourhood House help us to facilitate a family support group in this space, giving opportunities for local families to improve their situations by way of social interactions and adult classes.
