Goodstart Glass House Mountains

Goodstart Early Learning Glass House Mountains is nestled in between Mount Tibrogargan and Mount Ngungun, with amazing views of the Glass House Mountains. We take pride in connecting with nature within the centre, drawing on the local area to inspire our learning. 

Our Learning Environments are spacious and engaging. Each of our rooms have their own veranda and outdoor space where our children engage in indoor/outdoor play throughout the day (where appropriate). Our learning spaces are set up for our children that support their ability to develop, practice and master skills that will support their learning journey. 

Our outdoor environments have recently undergone a beautiful transformation, providing lovely spaces for our children that promote learning and safety, featuring sandpits with water access in each yard, a bike path and mud kitchen in our kindergarten yard, beautiful established trees that provide shade and opportunities for climbing. Our children are currently working on creating a beautiful edible garden in our side yard where they are planning the layout, deciding on the fruits and vegetables to plant and grow, and will be taking care of these.

Coast City Council Stars program to create a more sustainable centre with workshops for the children for Worm farming, Composting and Recycling. Supporting our children in the development of their garden. 

Family engagement is promoted in centre and through Storypark. We hold regular events including morning and/or afternoon teas, and where needed working bees. Storypark allows communication with your child’s educators as well as our Centre Leadership Team and for you to share important moments with us to include in our programmed experiences. We include community events on our events calendar that are relevant to our children, families, educators and local community along with other events that hold significance to the community as a whole.
