Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Morwell is located in a residential / commercial area, close to local primary schools and public transport including buses and trains. 

With caring educators, spacious rooms, nutritious food, and an open outdoor area where there are plenty of opportunities to explore and learn.

Because of our proximity to the local schools, we have a great transition program for our kinder children moving to prep at primary school. This benefits the children by helping them feel comfortable and school-ready.

 We also develop purposeful, engaging programs that take into consideration each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to make the transition to school. We offer a government funded 4 year old kindergarten program 5 days per week. 
We have an onsite Child and Family Practitioner who is with us one day a week. She is an amazing individual who is here to help guide our talented educators and give them the knowledge to be able to create welcoming and peaceful environments where children feel safe and secure to learn. 
  
Storypark is an educational platform, which enables us to maintain clear and consistent communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind. Educators use the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia to guide and further children’s learning.

All children have access to a play based program that will challenge their senses and interests. We have one Educators who has completed Occupational Therapy professional development training to further educate our team about the importance of acknowledging our senses.

We’re very involved in our local community and have strong networks with local agencies in the area. Making strong connections with our community is vital as this allows us to support families’ lives outside the centre. Throughout the year we have visits from fire station, dentists, and pet safety due to COVID this may be restricted. At the end of the year we have our kinder graduation, a children's Christmas party and various events during the year. Families are always welcome to attend events and to visit their children at any time. This may be restricted due to COVID requirements.

Here at Goodstart Morwell, we’re very focused on building strong relationships with families and children. We have implemented the Key Educator Relationship Approach into our service. The key educator will take responsibility for your child’s needs, as much as possible. The Key educator will be your families main point of contact at drop off and pick up. This individual relationship allows your child to experience a strong sense of belonging and comfort. Your Key educator will be introduced to you during your orientation process.
