Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Narre Warren – Pound Road North opened in February 2005. We are conveniently located within a residential area, close to school’s shops and public transport services. We have ample onsite parking with a convenient quick drop off and pick up zone.

Many of our educators have remained at the service since it opened. Our educators have various levels of experience, knowledge and unique cultural diversity which enriches our program through their values and beliefs. All team members have successfully completed their certificate III or Diploma in children’s services, with ongoing professional development always available. We have an educational leader Our Team also consists of two Early Childhood Teachers – one placed in the Kindergarten room and one in our three-year-old room. Our educators pride themselves on creating strong and meaningful relationships with the children through Key Educator relationships

Our Educators take the time to develop strong meaningful relationships with our children and families through Key Educator relationships. Key Educator relationships enable each child to have someone advocate for them and their wellbeing. A relationship where individuality and culture is respected and individual needs are met.

The centre comprises of 6 purpose built/designed rooms allowing for close age groupings. Inside all of the rooms from Nursery through until Kinder/Pre School – environments are set up in line with the Early Years Learning Framework where age appropriate play based learning experiences and opportunities are provided. Through stimulating surrounds, the children have the chance to grow and develop.

We have a storypark platform which enables our families to follow their child’s learning journey. Storypark is used to share information and photos of what learning is taking place each day within our educational programs. It also allows us as educators to communicate openly end effectively with each of our families.

Our outdoor environment consists of 4 areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. We have a fun and exciting outdoor space which include climbing fortes, sandpits, bike tracks, tanbark areas, veggie patch, under cover areas and a balance of manmade and natural play surfaces

We have a qualified cook onsite who prepares and cooks all meals fresh daily. Our menu consists of a variety of healthy and nutritious meals with flexibility in catering for any allergy or dietary requirements.

Community is also important to us and through centre incursions and excursions we are able to enrich strong community involvement and connections
