Our experienced and nurturing team at Goodstart Secret Harbour have worked together for years to create a rich, stable, and consistent child care environment, ensuring that every child feels supported and encouraged to thrive.

Big Yard with Natural Shade: We have a vast playground with lots of trees, offering natural shade, a fort, sand pit, balance beams and tunnels, making it an appealing environment for children to play and explore. We enjoy lots of learning time outdoors in nature.
Long-Standing Team: We have a stable and experienced team, which adds to the sense of trust and continuity for families.
Two Nursery Rooms: We have two nursery rooms, allowing for younger babies and older babies to have their own, age-appropriate rooms with learning programs tailored to their age and developmental milestones.
Strong Community Feedback: We receive consistent positive feedback from parents, particularly highlighting our centre’s homely feel, the quality of staff, and the outdoor play area.

At Goodstart Secret Harbour, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.
We prioritise:
1. Holistic Development: Supporting cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners.
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
At Goodstart, we believe all children deserve the best possible start in life, which includes access to high-quality early childhood education and care. We offer:

Hello, I’m Danni Sharpe, and I’m proud to be the Centre Director at Goodstart Secret Harbour.

With 14 years of experience in the childcare sector, I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of age groups, which has helped me understand the unique needs of children at every stage of their development. Five years ago, I began my journey as a Centre Director, and two years ago, I joined the fantastic team here at Goodstart Secret Harbour.

I’m deeply passionate about providing quality care in a safe and nurturing environment, where every child feels inspired and supported in their learning journey. As a Centre Director, I lead and mentor a team of highly skilled educators who share my commitment to delivering high-quality early learning experiences.

I’m excited to welcome you and your family to our vibrant, welcoming centre and look forward to supporting your child's growth and development.
