Located in a quiet, leafy residential community, means we offer a warm, inviting and home-like environment for your child.

Our nurturing, knowledgeable and passionate team partner with our families and the community to ensure that your child’s first five years of education, their most important, are a success.
 
Learning

Our centre has four carefully planned learning environments, an open plan outdoor space with ample opportunities for physical activity, social connections and enquiry.

In all our rooms, from Nursery to Kindergarten, our educational program and practices are set-up in line with the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.

Through sensory and play-based learning we offer your child the highest level of early education, while supporting and promoting their individual needs, interests, and strengths.
 
Your Team

Our team of passionate educators participate in professional development programs. They will be there to guide, enhance and celebrate your child's individual learning journey based on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

The Extras!

Your child will get to participate in extracurricular activities, such as Incursions, life cycle of butterflies, life cycle of chickens (hatching from eggs), educated on body safety awareness for the 3–6-year old’s, designed for the children, educators and families, celebrations of all cultures Diwali, Chanukah, Christmas and many more programs throughout the year.

We use the Storypark app to send you stories, photos, videos and messages while your child is at Goodstart and we also use the Xap forum to communicate with families via email.

To foster our relationship with our local community, we will be striving to participate in many community events and celebrations which also enrich the learning experience where potential restrictions allow.

Other ways in which we will connect with the broader community are through things like pen pal programs, virtual visits from members of the community such as Emergency services, local grocers etc, we also encourage parents to participate in showing the children what it is that they do for their line of work out in the community where possible. We also encourage the children to participate in activities run by the educators to help with every age group developing their fine and gross motor skills through Yoga, dancing, outdoor experiences and much more.

This year we aim to have our funded 3-year-old kinder and funded 4-year-old kinder rooms involved in programs such as children’s library readers for the children going off to school, MS readathon, Premiers reading challenge, pen pal correspondence with our local aged care facilities as well as encouraging some virtual incursions with local emergency services, as we are trying to keep the children involved with their community  and keep safe due to COVID-19 considerations.
