Goodstart Riddells Creek

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Riddells Creek is a purpose-built centre, set on two acres located in the Macedon Ranges. We are close to schools, and local shops and amenities. We provide a country lifestyle within an easy commute from Melbourne’s CBD.

Our qualified, highly experienced and friendly staff (many are long-term employees of Goodstart) are dedicated to providing exceptional programs and personal care to children and families. 

All of our rooms from nursery to kindergarten are set-up in line with the Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning. Our strong relationships with children and their families, enables us to tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

The Storypark app, along with regular family nights and newsletters, ensures open and clear communication with parents and families. 

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our three play areas have sandpits, vege gardens and worm farms, mud kitchen, play domes, teepees, bike paths, a climbing cube and lots of natural and manmade play surfaces and shade.

All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients – just the thing to keep tummies satisfied.

Community is important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
