United Kingdom’s highly regarded early years leader Sue Robb is joining Australia’s largest early learning and care provider and not-for-profit social enterprise, Goodstart Early Learning as General Manager of Pedagogy and Practice.
The new role has been created to support Goodstart’s objective of becoming a world leader in early years pedagogy and practice and the appointment of Ms Robb follows an extensive local and international search.
Most recently Ms Robb was the Head of Early Learning at Action for Children in the United Kingdom (UK). She has also worked as a teacher in the UK, Philippines, Greece and the USA, been a school principal and held the regulatory role of lead inspector for the Early Years Foundation Stage (the UK version of Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework).
As a complement to her role at Action for Children, Ms Robb has provided specialist advisory services on early years and childcare policy and quality to the UK Government and relevant Ministers.
Goodstart’s purpose is to ensure children have the learning, development and wellbeing outcomes they need for school and life. In her new role as General Manager of Pedagogy and Practice, Ms Robb will play a critical role at Goodstart working in collaboration with centres and centre support teams as we strive to improve outcomes for children.
