An initiative undertaken by 40 Goodstart Early Learning centres in Western Australia has been recognised in the AIM WA Pinnacle Awards. 

Date Night, which was held by the 40 centres in August to support families and encourage parents to take some time out for themselve, was a finalist in the Customer Service Excellence. 

These awards are now in their sixth year are a celebration of outstanding enterprise and an opportunity for WA businesses to get the recognition they deserve.

The concept, which was introduced by Goodstart Early Learning after listening to families who felt they had lost their “we time” after having children, allowed parents to spend a couple of hours together to maintain to focus on maintaining a strong relationship.

A study by website First Five Years found time is the greatest commodity for today’s parents with many happy yet stressed and overwhelmed as they struggle to find more time for themselves.

Goodstart continues its commitment to support families with the latest event planned to offer support in the lead up to Christmas. Families have the opportunity to connect with friends and family during the festive season knowing their children are with trusted and familiar educators surrounded by their friends.
