The team at St Leonards has used COVID as an opportunity to find new ways to connect with and strengthen relationships with children, families, other Goodstart centres as well as their local community.
With children at the centre of everything they do, the St Leonards team implemented initiatives such as writing and posting letters to local residents during lockdown, drawing pictures and writing notes for residents of the local nursing home and collecting and delivering bags of love for the frontline workers at the RNS Hospital.
The team was recognised for sharing and collaborating with other Goodstart teams and centres to ensure their impact was bigger than themselves.
A big congratulations to the team at St Leonards for all the hard work, dedication and commitment over the year. A job truly well done!
