Goodstart Hassall Grove

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Hassall Grove is conveniently located close to local shops and public schools is only a few minutes from the M7 motorway. Car parking is available for parents for stress-free drop off and pick up.

Our centre has been open for more than 20 years, with generations of families using the service. This has allowed us to develop lasting relationships with local schools as well as the Aboriginal Elders in the local area.

We are proud to share that our Exceeding ACECQA rating is reflective of all seven rated areas. 

Our service provides care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years and we have over 80 families using the centre. Our families come from a range of cultural backgrounds, and we embed culture into all aspects of the curriculum. At Goodstart Hassall Grove individuality is celebrated!  We support families to access services such as the Learning Support Program and we work with SDN Children’s Services to include children with autism.

Our dedicated educators have been at the centre for many years, with an average of 10 years for most and all are qualified with Certificate III, Diploma or Degree of Early Childhood Education and trained in first aid.  Our educators come from diverse cultural backgrounds and we have educators who speak Hindi and Spanish.

Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.

This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.

Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.

Tummies are kept full at Goostart Hassall Grove and we provide 4 nutritious meals per day including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack. The menu is a six week rotating menu that includes meals from a range of cultures and influences. Food is prepared fresh for all children including babies.
