Goodstart Andergrove

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Andergrove is located in a quiet, family orientated area North of Mackay. Close to private and public schools as well as frequent public transportation, Goodstart Andergrove is conveniently accessible - making the daily drop off and pick up stress-free.

Our childcare centre provides quality education and care for children aged six weeks old to school age. We are proud to support a diverse range of families within our community, regularly attend community events and collaborate  with a variety of support services to ensure our families can access the support they need if they ever had to.
 
Our service aims to support children's learning through high quality interactions, experiences and opportunities. We have an Early Childhood Teacher who runs the Kindergarten Program four days per week and a second ECT in our Pre-Kindergarten room to provide our 3-5’s the opportunity for the best possible start in their transition to Prep journey.

At Goodstart Andergrove, we believe that communication between families, children and Educators is the key to success! Our educators at Goodstart Andergrove work closely with families to ensure that individual routines are followed as best as possible and time is taken to get to know each child - their likes, dislikes, backgrounds, individual needs and interests. We endeavor to keep families up to date through regular parent newsletters, via Storypark and also our Facebook page. Families are encouraged to speak with our Centre Director or room educators at any time with their needs and feedback taken onboard to ensure our centre families are comfortable and happy when they bring their child/ren to us.

Nursery to Kindergarten follow the Early Years Learning Framework and incorporate this into the children’s program and future planning to ensure each child is working towards individual goals and milestones and our Pre Kindergarten and Kindergarten also incorporate the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline within their planning.
 
Outdoors we have three beautifully upgraded learning environments to cater to the varying ages of our children. Each area includes a sandpit and a beautiful large undercover veranda which enables children to access their natural outdoor environment as we move through the seasons.
  We strive to ensure each child and family are included to join us on our journey as we achieve our vision ofcourse that includes welcoming and engaging new families into our community along the way.
