Goodstart Benowa

Our Benowa Child Care Centre is located in a very friendly and central location on the Gold Coast, close to shops, schools and hospitals. We have spacious rooms allowing us to offer a variety of childcare and early learning educational activities.

Our large outdoor environment gives children plenty of space to run around, ride bikes and explore a multitude of learning experiences. The playground looks out to a large, quiet parkland which enhances the peace and serenity of the child care centre. 

Our centre’s goals are to give children a sense of self-worth by helping them develop at their own individual pace while learning basic life skills. We aim to create an environment where the children will feel confident and secure enough to explore and grow.  

We believe that play enables children to make sense of their environment and is the essential ingredient in our kindergarten program. Play is not only a child's unique way of learning about their world, but also their way of learning about themselves and how they fit into their world. It builds on familiar knowledge and deepening their understanding through the recurring cycle of learning that is essential to development. 

Our educators pride themselves on delivering a learning experience like no other including emotional development, physical development, language skills, cognitive development and social development. They work hard to ensure children build strong and meaningful relationships with both peers and teachers. 

At Goodstart Early Learning Benowa your child will experience learning activities and play in group settings. We also offer individualised programs for the children. We observe and plan experiences to enhance your child's natural abilities and learning. We provide high quality care and education, and extracurricular activities such as dancing, gardening, tennis and computer skills. 

We thrive on our involvement with families, allowing them to join us in our activities and celebrating special occasions. Each child receives a scrapbook of photos and artwork they have done throughout the year. Our families enjoy coming together at our Christmas party to celebrate the end of each year. Child care is not intended to replace parental care, but to enhance the child's life experience while separated from the parents. We are committed to promoting and supporting all aspects of a child's growth in an atmosphere of respect.
