Goodstart Buderim

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Buderim is located in the picturesque suburb of Buderim just a short drive from Maroochydore, the heart of the Sunshine Coast. Our centre is located just off King Street, tucked away from the busy main road giving us the advantage of privacy and security. Our centre is located in very close proximity to public transport facilities and handy to a number of local schools, colleges, and the Sunshine Coast University. 

Our centre boasts four large fully air-conditioned rooms with bi-fold windows which allow fresh air ventilation. Our centre caters for children from six weeks to six years of age.

Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
 
Our Storypark platform, enables us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have age-appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. The spacious playground is well-shaded by established trees and shade sails that offer an abundance of shade at any time of the day and is further enhanced by the quaint picnic tables located under the shade of the beautiful trees.  

Our educators are all qualified and are committed and passionate about their work, this is reflected in the warm bonds they develop with the children and their families.
 
We are committed to education and community service, and offer students from the local high schools, TAFE and Universities practical work experience opportunities as part of their chosen early childhood education course.
 
Goodstart Buderim is focussed on providing high quality care in a safe, warm and loving environment where children and families are respected for their individual needs. The centre is an extension of the home environment for many families, and we feel very privileged to be part of each and every child’s life.

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
