At Goodstart Calamvale 2 our Vision is “For all children and their families to develop a love for themselves, each other, learning and the environment.” We incorporate our vision along with Goodstart’s Guiding Principles, Early Years Learning Frame Work, Kindergarten Guidelines and My Time Our Place developmental programs to offer children the best start in life. 

Within our centre your child will develop and flourish in our beautiful learning environment while they engage in our natural gardens, tranquil spaces, adventure slides and swings. Your child will engage in caring for our chickens, a worm farm, herb garden as well as their class garden. Our centre has embedded a wonderful sustainability program where the children engage hands on with learning and caring for our environment.  With our Key Educator approach to learning your child and family will receive quality, individual learning and support.

Your child will also be able to develop a sense of belonging to the community as we have strong community connections and regular excursions throughout the year to the library, local schools, parks and nursing homes. We are dedicated to building strong connections with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and we have an active reconciliation action plan at our centre. With our strong connections with the local schools our Early Childhood Teacher is able to ensure that our Kindergarten program fosters children’s learning to assist them to be school ready.

We have a large number of long term staff who have been with our centre for over 8 years. Our staff are highly qualified, very passionate and participate in continuous professional development to ensure that we are offering the best educational experiences to foster children’s learning. Through our play based learning approach, your child will engage in a wide variety of fun games and activities, both indoors and outdoors. Through a wide range of media, research and projects aimed at advancing all areas of their development, we foster children to become empowered  young individuals.
