Goodstart Fernvale

Goodstart Fernvale Early Learning Centre is nestled in a quiet residential area of our small, welcoming country community, close to local schools and shops.

At our Centre, we offer a relaxed, calm, fun, and interactive learning environment with a charming country feel, designed to nurture children from six weeks to five years old. Our experienced and highly qualified educators have been with us for many years and are truly part of our Goodstart family.

Inside, all of our rooms—from Nursery to Kindergarten—are set up in line with the Early Years Learning Framework, offering sensory and play-based learning opportunities. Our colourful, stimulating surroundings ensure that children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning. We focus on preparing children for that all-important step up to school.

Our Storypark platform, along with regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enables us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also allows us to tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests, and strengths, while embracing the strong cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have age-appropriate play spaces and equipment designed to enhance children’s awareness of their surroundings and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our outdoor area features sandpits, decking, slides, dirt patches, chalkboards, teepees, wind chimes, a bark area, vegetable patches, a worm farm, a mud kitchen, and plenty of shade.

We provide all our children with three nutritionally balanced meals a day and can cater to any dietary requirements.

A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre, excursions, and participation in community events, we deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching children about being contributing and active members of society.
