About our centre

Welcome to Goodstart Middle Ridge!

Our beautiful centre has 5 rooms, ranging from Nursery through to Kindergarten. In each room we have dedicated educators that consistently work to create a meaningful, child-centred curriculum to support our little one’s learning journey. Our room ratios are:

Nursery 1- Ages 6 weeks to 15 months, 1:4 ratio

Nursery 2- Ages 15 months to 2 years, 1:4 ratio

Toddlers 1- Ages 2 years to 3 years, 1:5 ratio

Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2- Ages 3 years to 5 years, 1:11 ratio

We have two large playgrounds that include multiple sandpits, a swing set, sensory gardens and lots of room to run and play!

We are deeply committed to the safety of our children, staff and families, and we work to ensure the best possible experience for our little learners.

Christine Gourlay

Centre Director

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Christine, the Centre Director at Goodstart, Middle Ridge.

I bring 18 years of experience in the industry, along with a Bachelor in Education (0-5 years) and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Joining Goodstart as the Centre Director at Middle Ridge in 2023 was an exciting opportunity for me, especially since their principles, vision, and values resonate with my own commitment to diversity and inclusion.

I am dedicated to delivering exceptional care for children of all ages and focus on building strong connections with families and children alike. I believe that fostering relationships and providing a safe, nurturing environment is essential for the growth and well-being of our children.

My door is always open, and I encourage families and children to come and chat anytime. I am eager to embark on this early learning journey with you and your family, so please feel free to drop by and say hello. I can't wait to meet you all soon!
