Goodstart Rockhampton

Goodstart Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Rockhampton is a Centre with history. Formerly a church, our Centre has been transformed into a unique facility offering care for babies through to school aged children. We are located in a residential / commercial area, close to local schools and shops as well as community facilities and transport routes.

All of our rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are spacious and contain numerous educational activities allowing for a variety of creative experiences. Our individualized programs - which are aligned to the Early Years' Learning Framework - ensure that educators are encouraging your child's development at their own individual pace, and that the experiences are reflective of their needs, interests and current abilities. 
Our service embeds the key educator approach and we believe everybody should have a, somebody all of the time. Keeping your child’s emotional cup full is of our priority.

Our Story park platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring transparent communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths. 
By offering flexible routines we are able to cater to your child’s agency and promote age appropriate self-help skills. Goodstart Rockhampton proudly embraces the strong level of cultural diversity in our Centre.

 Our outside environment is enriched with a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, bike path, dirt pit, undercover stage, water tank, vegetable patch and lots of shade and play spaces. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam to their own delight.
