Goodstart Tarragindi

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Tarragindi is a small centre located ten minutes from the CBD, close to schools, shops, residential estates and main roads.

All Goodstart Early Learning Tarragindi staff pride themselves on delivering all children fun and educational opportunities each and every time they are in our care.

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our two play areas have sandpits, vege patch, mud kitchens, bark pits, forts, bike paths, cubbies, and lots of shade.

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.

We hold lots of special events throughout the year which allow the children to be creative and step into their imaginary world for a day.  Some events include: Pirates and Princess day, wear your favourite colour day, we also have outside acts come and visit the children at the centre such as the local police, ambulance and fire station.

At the end of the year we have a special Christmas concert for all the parents, grandparents and friends of the children. This is where the children get to show off all of what they have learnt during their time with us.
