Goodstart Plympton

Our purpose-built centre is located on Anzac Highway and provides much-needed care for local families.  Featuring seven spacious learning spaces over a single level and a separate nursery sleep room, Goodstart Plympton is designed as a modern yet home-like, naturally inspired environment.

All learning spaces have lovely natural light and direct access to our vast, nature-based outdoor spaces with sensory gardens, earth pits and dry creek beds. Our beautiful outdoor dining hub connects our learning spaces to the playground and provides a shaded, outdoor dining space for all children. Our onsite kitchen with child-height servery allows our cook to serve and engage our children in cooking and preparing meals. Our 3-5 years learning spaces feature engaging home corners, clay and art studios, quiet areas and construction block areas.

With a highly experienced team on board, each room runs a program for the children which is both age and developmentally appropriate. The early learning programs are structured around various learning areas - primarily based on the Early Years' Learning Framework -  with associated learning outcomes. There is a large emphasis on play-based learning and the importance of language, communication, social and physical development. Curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and is tailored to your child's individual interests.

A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
