Goodstart Glenorchy

I have just returned from 6 months maternity leave after having my third child. Before this I spent the last 5 years at Goodstart North Hobart where I was the Centre Director. 

I hold a Bachelor of Education (early childhood) which I have recently completed, and I take great joy in overseeing the practices and educational programs in our centres. 

My early learning values:

I believe that all children should experience a positive start to their learning journey as this will help establish a positive attitude for learning that they can carry through life. By building positive relationships and partnerships with children, families and the community, we can nurture and support their growing curiosity, independence and resilience.

What I love about our community:

The people, the places and the connections. From a quick Hello on the street, or the support that is given when we are locally fundraising, to the support networks we have around us, this is what makes me feel a part of this amazing community. 

A little more about me:

When I am not at the centre you will find me spending time with my family, at the park, playing netball or in the garden. I have a great partner – Marko, and 3 beautiful children – Charlie, Adeline and Delilah. We also have a Golden Retriever dog call Alfie and a cat named Dusty. On weekends I enjoy playing netball and going for walks along the river.
