Goodstart Carrum Downs Hall Road

I have been the Centre Director at Goodstart Hall Road since October 2024. 

I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and am currently studying towards my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I find great joy and fulfilment in overseeing the educational programs and care at Goodstart Hall Road, where I can help nurture and guide young minds.

With over 22 years of experience in the Early Childhood sector, including 7 years as a Director, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of services both private and not-for-profit across Australia. My experience spans working with children from birth to six years, and every day I am inspired by the impact we can have on their growth and development.

My Early Learning values:

I strongly believe that a love of learning begins with creating an environment in which children, families and educators feel that they belong. I am passionate about assessment, play-based learning and intentional teaching. I hope to share my knowledge and skills at Hall Road to cater to the needs of all learners by cultivating a strong send of self-belief through meaningful relationships and quality communication. 

What I love about our community:

Definitely the people! Whether it's a friendly "hello" in the morning or the incredible support we receive during local fundraising drives, it's the kindness and generosity of our local community that truly make this place special. It's the sense of connection and care that builds a community and makes it feel like home.


A little more about me: 

When I’m not in the centre, you can usually find me out walking with my five cats (yes, five!). They love our little adventures, and I enjoy the peacefulness of being outdoors with them. I also love spending time with my family, often in the mountains where we can unwind, take in the fresh air, and enjoy nature together.
