Goodstart Hughesdale

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Hughesdale is easily accessible via public transport, and in close proximity to local primary schools and Monash University.
 
We have a long-standing, committed team with most educators having been with the centre for more than a decade. We have a variety of cultural backgrounds and some of our educators are fluent in Russian, Mandarin, Hindi, German, Punjabi, French, Greek, Telugu, Bengali and Cantonese.

Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
 
Outside we have a balance of natural and manmade elements to provide children with an opportunity to use their imagination and explore. We have sandpits, vege patches, mud kitchens, tan bark areas, water tank, a dry creek bed, bike paths and lots of shade!
 
We promote open communication with our families. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
 
Individual communication books are provided for all babies under 15 months old. We hold numerous special events throughout the year including family fun days, charity nights and community events, and invite families to participate.
 
Our on-site cook provides a nutritionally balanced, multicultural menu with the ability to cater for special diets and allergies.
