About our centre

Goodstart Early Learning Childcare Centre West Melton is in a residential area close to schools, shops and local transport.

We are a 75-place childcare centre with educational programs available from 6 weeks to 5 years. All educators at our service have formal qualifications in early childhood as well as many years of experience. We are a dedicated team of professionals who strive for positive outcomes for all children.

Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and The National Quality Standards. We believe that every child is unique, therefore our centre offers rich and engaging educational programs tailored meet each child’s strengths.

Inside and outside, our rooms are established with sensory and play based learning opportunities. The stimulating surroundings ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop to their greatest potential.
Our story park platform, enables us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication.

We maintain strong ties to our local community and undertake a variety of excursions and incursions throughout the year. We are recognised for our strong partnership with families and firmly believe that care and education is a shared responsibility between parents and educators.

Centre Director

Hi there, my name is Debbie. I have been the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning West Melton since 2005.

I have been in the early learning and childcare industry since 1996 and I have a Diploma of Children’s services. During my 25 years’ experience I have had the opportunity to work with different age groups and across a variety of areas in the industry.

The knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my long career enables me to:

- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow and develop to their full potential

- Make sure every child has access to the highest quality early learning

- Empower our dedicated team, all who are committed to our centre and families

I feel extremely privileged to work in a role where I can be a part of this critical and exciting stage in a child’s life.
