Goodstart Yarrawonga

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Yarrawonga is a 65 place centre located in a residential area close to schools and shops as well as community facilities.
 
Caring for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, we run four rooms, catering to different age ranges, each with individual plans and flexible routines specifically designed for the children in the room.
 
We have a funded Kindergarten Program that runs 5 days per week, run by our very own Early Childhood Teacher. Furthermore, we have a number of qualified educators in the centre and several currently studying to further their qualifications. Our educators vary in their ages and backgrounds, all bringing something very special and unique to the team.
 
Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with the Victorian Early Years LearningFramework in mind. Natural, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
 
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular emails and communication, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths. 
 
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment. 
 
All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients – just the thing to keep hungry tummies satisfied.
 
Goodstart Yarrawonga prides itself on the fantastic relationships between staff, families, children and the local community. It is our aim to provide children in our care with exciting and imaginative learning programs that cover a range of areas, working across the entire Early Learning Years Framework.
 
A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Our Bush Kindergarten program has been a popular inclusion, allowing Children to experience learning in nature first hand.
