• About Goodstart Darch

  Goodstart Early Learning in Darch is a purpose-built childcare centre catering for 85 children each day, located in a convenient location, close to local schools and shops as well as main roads and community facilities.

  •    Nursery rooms for children aged six weeks to 15 months and from 16 months to two years old.

  •    Toddler room for children aged two years to three years old.

  •    Three-year-old Kindergarten room for children aged three to four years old.

  •    Kindergarten room with a Kindergarten teacher for children four years to school age.

  •    Age-appropriate play spaces and equipment.

  •    Emphasis on sustainability with activities like saving water and paper, and planting veggies, flowers, and herbs.

  •    Healthy and nutritious meals provided by a fantastic cook, catering to all dietary needs.

  •    Community involvement through visits, events, and activities.

  •    Daily art, music, and movement experiences.

  Our primary partners are our families and the community. We work closely with each, to create strong relationships.

  We offer discounts on multiple days, all-day sessions, discounted shorter sessions, and fee assistance programs for families that need support.

• Communication with families

  We keep in touch with families via the Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights, newsletters and Facebook page; to ensure open and clear communication. 

  This supports us to tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre. 

  We keep families informed with regular updates on their child's progress and we welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

  Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote Key Educator relationships between our educators and children. 

  Our Key Educator Relationships build strong, secure, reciprocal relationship between each child, their family, and our educators.

  Your child will have at least one Key Educator who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
