Welcome to Goodstart Madeley

We play and learn on the lands of the Noongar peoples.

Let your child's imagination run wild in Goodstart Madeley's beautiful outdoor environment, thoughtfully designed to inspire play, learning and a connection with nature and sustainability. Located in a convenient location close to Wanneroo Road, our childcare centre is tucked into a quiet slip road across from Kingsway Caravan Park.

Our nurturing and experienced team have worked together for years, and their family-oriented approach ensures that every child feels supported and encouraged to thrive. We focus on learning through play and strong connections between the team and children and their families.

Our three-room centre caters for children aged 6-weeks to 5-years and is the perfect place for your child to grow with confidence and get prepared for school.

Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote Key Educator relationships between our educators and children.
Our Key Educator Relationships build strong, secure, reciprocal relationship between each child, their family, and our educators.
Your child will have at least one Key Educator who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
We keep in touch with families via the Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights, newsletters and Facebook page; to ensure open and clear communication.
This supports us to tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
We keep families informed with regular updates on their child's progress and we welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
With our approved kindergarten program, early childhood teachers and long day care hours, we're a great alternative to school-based kindergartens.
Our three kindergarten teachers are diploma qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

Centre Director

Hi there! My name is Shannon, and I am the Centre Leader here at Goodstart Early Learning Madeley.

I have worked in the early learning and community service sector for over 30 years. During my time working in the ECEC sector I have been lucky enough to have worked in all age groups from Nursery through to Out of hours school care.

I have had a passion for educating and nurturing children from when I was a young child, always showing that nurturing, caring and protective side toward children. Early Childhood Education and Care concentrates on our youngest children, research has proven the importance the first five years of a child’s brain development is to their learning and social development in the years that follow, and I and my team feel privileged to be a part of this important part of children’s lives.

At Goodstart Madeley we feel connecting with our families and giving all a sense of belonging makes an easier and trusting transition into care. We encourage our families to ask questions, make suggestions and to become an integral part of the Goodstart Madeley Family.
