About our centre
We are pleased to announce that we have secured a new location at Barton, which is now open!
This new Barton centre is modern and spacious, with lots of new resources, and it meets our needs to create the best possible learning environments for our children and families.
Our entire team from Goodstart Kingston has moved across to the new site to ensure the move causes minimal disruption to children and their routines.
While this is an exciting move for us all, we appreciate it is also the end of an era for Kingston. The centre has been part of many of our lives for a long time and is full of memories and important milestones.

Hi there! My name is Cassandra and i'm the Centre Director here at Goodstart Barton.
I've been involved in Early Education for almost 2 decades. Starting mycareer in regional NSW in out of school hours care (OOSHC), then moved to Canberra in 2010 and have since worked as an assistant, lead educator, assistant director, educational leader and have been Directing since 2016. I have been part of the Goodstart family for almost 10 years and i'm excited to be opening our new Barton centre.
Early education isn’t just a job to me. I know how important the first 5 years of a child’s life are, I recognise how crucial it is for a child to feel safe and supported, it’s equally important for their families to trust in the people they’re leaving their child with. As educators we are so privileged to teach, care and witness amazing milestones every day and celebrating this with our children and their families is so special. There’s nothing more important that the health and happiness of a child.
I look forward to welcoming you into our new centre here at Goodstart Barton.
