Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre East Ballina is a 90-place centre, purpose built and located to make the most of both convenience and the wonderful Ballina family lifestyle. We are tucked into one of the East Ballina shopping centres, are close to the beach and the daily drop-off and pick-up is so much simpler given our access to main roads and proximity to so many of our community’s amenities.

The experienced and dedicated team of carers and educators work hard to ensure your children are given the very best in early learning – and our programs are all designed to have children ready to take the next step into “big school”. Our curriculum, which is built around a strong school-readiness program - is developed in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and we are guiding the children to become lifelong learners.

We have five rooms: two Nursery rooms, one Toddlers room and two Preschool rooms; catering for children from six weeks through to kindergarten / preschool age. All of the rooms are carefully planned out and appointed to ensure children have a stimulating and fun experience each and every day. So too, our outdoor areas. We have large and interesting play areas for the children to explore, as well as special garden areas (with a lovely vege patch!) which we build into the daily activities. Our centre is also equipped with a kitchen so we can satisfy hungry tummies after lots of busy activities and play.

The staff here are highly qualified, with qualifications ranging from Certificate III to Bachelors Degrees. We have three university trained Early Childhood Teachers and all are frequently updating and refreshing their skills to ensure your children are in the best care. Our team has a wealth of experience and as such we are able to provide a continuity of care – not just for individual children, but for families of children who come through the centre.

Our relationship with families – and open clear communication – is of highest priority. Working together to set goals, celebrate milestones and ensure children have the best possible start is vitally important.
