Goodstart Goonellabah

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Goonellabah is located conveniently on a main highway on the outskirts of Lismore. Convenient but quiet, well-positioned and safe – it’s location makes for a much simpler and stress-free daily drop-off and pick-up. 

Our centre offers early learning to 90 children daily in rooms from Nursery to Preschool. Our rooms are set up to ensure children can benefit from planned learning experiences and play-based learning. The curriculum is based around the Early Years Learning Framework, and care is taken to ensure the individual needs and interests of your child is taken into account. We pay particular attention to social and emotional wellbeing, as well as literacy and numeracy to ensure children are given every opportunity to transition well from early learning to school. We have Bachelor qualified teachers throughout the centre, and a team of qualified educators, ensuring your child has access to qualified, experiences and inspiring educators.  

Each room has verandas which allow children to play in an indoor to outdoor setting throughout the day and in all seasons; although, the whole centre is reverse cycle air conditioned for those particularly hot or cold days! Once outside, we have open and large playgrounds with sand pits, an art studio, veggie patches, woodworking areas, and space for our chickens.

At Goodstart Goonellabah, we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for all children and cater for all allergies. All our food is made on the premises (including mashed vegetables and puree for infants starting solids).
