Goodstart Lake Munmorah

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Lake Munmorah is located just inside the Pacific Lakes Estate, off Elizabeth Bay Drive. We opened in 2004 and have been a strong part of the community since the beginning, maintaining relationships with our local primary schools and attending regular meetings with other community services.

Our curriculum – developed in alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework – ensures the individual interests and needs, as well as strengths, of your child is taken into consideration. Our qualified and experienced team of carers and educators share a common belief that school readiness starts from nursery by developing social and emotional skills as well as children’s curiosity and desire to learn. Once in the preschool room we focus more on numeracy and literacy then in the other rooms so that children are better prepared for school.
 
Inside, our rooms – Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – reflect our commitment to play and experience based learning. We also ensure the children are well fed with nutritious and delicious meals prepared by our qualified cooks.

Outside, our unique shaped outdoor play space features beautiful open spaces for children to run and explore. We also have a large vegetable garden, that also consist of an active worm farm that the children assist in maintaining.

Our centre plays a strong role in our community and in partnership with many local organisations, we participate in extracurricular activities such as police and fire brigade visits, walks to the park to feed the ducks, farm visits and excursion’s to the local schools.
 
We provide regular communication with our families through a variety of methods such as email, day books, our noticeboard, and quality face-to-face conversations. We encourage families to call should they want to check in on their child’s day.
