Goodstart Nightcliff

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Nightcliff is located in the heart of our community with easy access to local schools, shops and public transport. We have plenty of parking too, so that takes the stress out of the daily drop-off and pick-up. Our centre is located beside Woolworths Nightcliff and opposite Tyre Plus.

Our team of Early Childhood Educators works in partnerships with families and communities to provide an environment that is safe, secure, respectful and inclusive to ensure all children develop a sense of belonging.

Our educators are qualified, experienced early learning professionals who are committed to providing high quality care and early learning for your child. All of our educators have their Senior First Aid Certificates and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training, and actively and regularly engage in personal and professional development to expand their experience and knowledge.

Our play-based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. With our climate, we are able to play outside all year around - and in the long hot summer months we have plenty of shade. Sun protection is something we take very seriously and sunscreen is provided.

Community is also important to us and, through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year, we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity. Excursions and participation in community events, enable us to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
