Goodstart Burleigh

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Burleigh is located centrally in Varsity Lakes, within walking distance of two local primary schools and close to shops and a medical centre. Public transport is right at our doorstep.

We are part of a close-knit community where many families see one another socially outside of service hours. It is not only the children, but also the families, that grow together. We have been operating for 22 years, and maintain strong relationships with the community, especially our local primary schools and health agencies.

We are proud to state we have many long standing educators who have been with the child care centre for five years or longer. Our educators genuinely love their jobs, are all qualified, and they enjoy seeing the growth and development of children at our centre.

At Goodstart Burleigh, we have close relationships with all of our families, and maintain constant communication not only verbally but also through media such as email, newsletters, and displays within the centre. Families are always invited to attend our service to help out, show and share different cultures, be a part of our calender of events, or just celebrate living.

Our service has five rooms that cater for children from six weeks until five years of age – Nursery to Kindergarten. The curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines.

Our rooms are large and spacious, and we have separate playgrounds for each age group. Our indoor and outdoor play areas are all set up (and frequently refreshed) to provide the children with a stimulating and fun experience. Our Kindergarten program offers free yoga lessons to the children and we also offer extra-curricular activities of tennis lessons and Little Big Sport.
