About our centre

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Dalby is located in the heart of Dalby, three hours south-east of Brisbane. Our central location allows for easy access to local shops and supermarkets. The simplicity of our location provides convenient collection for busy families.

Our 74-place centre provides care for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. Throughout the centre you will observe 5 rooms.
These individual rooms provide opportunity children to engage with children of similar ages and development. With programs planned according to their needs and interests.

Presented within a church, the centre is split into two buildings catering for segregated infant/toddler and 3-5 aged care. Outdoors the children of our centre practice care and respect as they explore a range of natural materials within our environments including vegetable and flower gardens, recycling of food scraps for our worm farm, collaborative play within our yarning circle sensory play within our mud pits, and quiet spaces that allow children to connect with nature.

Children of all ages are stimulated with both planned and spontaneous experiences including physical play, cognitive play, sensory play, gardening and reflection of the aboriginal and Torres Strait Island culture.

My name is Sandra, and I am Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Centre Dalby.

Hi, I’m Sandra Centre Director here at Goodstart Early Learning Centre Dalby. I am a highly experienced and qualified early childhood professional joining Goodstart Dalby in April 2022.

As the Centre Director my role is to be an advocate for the children who attend the centre as I believe each child has the right to feel safe and protected from harm through a caring and respectful environment.

I am committed to providing high quality care, delivering a clean and healthy environment and building strong respectful relationships with children, families and other educators.
