Goodstart Drayton

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Drayton is situated in a semi-rural community on the outskirts of Southern Toowoomba. The country atmosphere creates a wonderful ambiance as you arrive at the centre, but we are still in a convenient spot which makes the daily drop-off and pick up stress free.

The houses surrounding the centre are on acreage, adding to the peace, tranquillity and spaciousness that you feel when at the centre. At capacity we take 58 children, so we cater to a smaller group of children than some centres.

Being smaller creates a very home-like feeling to the centre. We have four rooms from Nursery to Kindergarten and nutritious meals are provided. The staff at the centre also add to the home-like environment and we have a lovely blend of younger and mature staff.

Our curriculum is aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework and adheres to the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines, but we take special care to ensure the individual needs and interests of your child is factored into their personal learning program. Inside, our rooms are well equipped, planned according to the curriculum with colour and stimulation to promote fun and experience-based learning. We also work to ensure children are ready to make a smooth transition to school.

Outside, we make the most of our beautiful rural surrounds with spacious, real and natural environments. We have vege patches, a sandpit, natural bark pit, rocks and lots of space for exploring and imagination. Big verandas make the most of covered space for fresh air and outdoor play, whatever the weather!
