Goodstart Kingaroy

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Kingaroy is a large child care centre on two blocks catering for up to 74 children per day. We currently have five rooms from Nursery to our Government funded Kindergarten room.
 
Our child care centre has a great partnership with Gundoo Day Care in Cherbourg and caters to all children. The centre also works closely with schools to ensure the transition from Day Care to school runs smoothly.
 
Our curriculum, developed in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines, offers a variety of activities for the children throughout the day including music and movement, active play, craft activities, language, computer skills and many more.
 
Through open communication with parents and families, we provide a personalised program for each individual child within the centre; this enables us to accommodate the children’s needs and interests while further developing their strengths. Our rooms are planned and set out according to the curriculum and day’s program.
 
Outside, our playground areas is wrapped around the centre, which allows all children to run and explore to their heart's content. Our Nursery children have their own playground which is fenced but allows older siblings to come and visit at any time. Our shaded play areas, gardens and space allow the children to be immersed in stimulating, safe, experience and play based learning.
 
Community is another important part of Goodstart Kingaroy’s philosophy. As well as visits and access to information from throughout the community, we have Calender of Events days which include bring a pet day, pirate day and even pyjama day. We also have theme shows throughout the year which come to the service to provide entertainment for the children.
