About our centre

Goodstart Morningside - Junction Road (entrance via Algoori Street) is a double centre which caters for children from 6 weeks to 5 years. Our three well equipped playgrounds include many and varied experiences for the children. We offer flexible session times to assist families with utilising their CCS efficiently.

Our experienced and qualified staff are professional and committed to providing the highest quality child care in a "home away from home" environment that is warm, loving and nurturing. Our programs focus on learning through play and incorporate the Early Years Learning Framework.

Age appropriate programs respond to children's individual needs and interests. Children are allowed and encouraged to freely express their emotions and feelings and these are acknowledged and guided in an appropriate manner by our highly qualified and motivated staff.

We recognise the importance of family at Goodstart Morningside. Parents are always welcome to participate in all aspects of our program and scheduled events. We also offer sibling play throughout the day to maintain and enhance familial bonds.

Megan Lord

Centre Director

My name is Megan Lord (Meg) and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Mornignside Junction Road.

I was lucky enough to join the Mornignside Junction Road team in June 2024 and feel very blessed to have joined such a dedicated and passionate team. I have been working in the Early Childhood industry for the past four years. I hold my Advanced Diploma in early childhood education and care, I take great joy in overseeing the development and educational program here at Morningside Junction Road.

My Background
I am a firm believer, that the first 5 years play such an important role in children’s lives, and we are incredibly lucky to support shape the minds of our future generation.
I enjoy seeing smiling faces everyday and engaging with the amazing families that we have the opportunity to support in this crucial time of their lives.

What I love about our community

When I am not at the centre you will find me on an adventure outdoors with my partner, daughter Storm and German Shepard, Queen. I also enjoy reading, swimming, singing and going to the cinema.
