Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre in Evanston Park offers a friendly, fun, nurturing environment for all children and their families. We work in partnership with our families to ensure your children benefit from the highest-quality early learning opportunities.

We pride ourselves on a professional, yet warm, community centre atmosphere and we have built a strong reputation around families returning for the care of their second, third and even fourth child as well as the referral of friends and other family members to the centre. We know how important family time is and we encourage and enable siblings to play together even when they are in different age groups. We believe this helps the children and parents to feel comfortable.

Our curriculum is developed in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are designed to provide routine, play and experience based learning. We also pay particular attention to the transition of our children to school with our two early childhood teachers facilitating our comprehensive Kindergarten program.

We work on having positive relationships within the local community, especially with the local school, Trinity College. The majority of our children have siblings attending the school and we regularly visit the library and reception classrooms, making the transition to school much easier.

Every day is different at the centre and we regularly take into consideration the children’s learning interests when creating activities and events during the day. It’s often surprising just where the children’s interests will lead us. We communicate with families in lots of ways from face to face to email. When something special happens at the centre or one of our children achieves something new, we are pleased to let parents know.

We believe each and every child deserves the right to be safe, happy, healthy and loved. While your child is in our care we will laugh with them and enjoy discovering who they are as an individual as they explore and learn new things.
