Government Funded Kindergarten Program

At Heidelberg, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our early learning centre offers a Government-funded kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

We have the Victoria Kinder Tick, and we’re government funded

Each kinder group has its own learning spaces, separate from the rest of the centre. It helps children (and their families!) understand they are moving into a different stage of learning.

Having dedicated kinder spaces also allows us to provide kinder programs that are engaging and challenging enough for kinder-age kids.

Three-Year-Old Kinder

We get lots of visitors like:

• The local police.

• Reptiles and their human handlers.

• Healthy Harold pops in twice a year.

• The fire brigade.

• The dentist for checkups.

• Our friends from the local retirement home.

Four-Year-Old Kinder

We do weekly excursions to the school oval near us to get everyone used to what prep will feel like.

We also love taking bushwalks in the nature reserve behind our centre. We ask lots of questions and we even bring plants back to our kinder space to study and grow.
