Goodstart Numurkah

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Numurkah is a 60 place centre located in a rural setting, close to schools and the main street shopping centre.

Catering for children from six weeks to six years of age, our team of local, friendly staff possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience which they use to deliver a fun, engaging, educational program to our children.   

Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
 
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
 
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our two areas have sandpits, soft fall areas, cubby house, obstacle courses, fruit trees, a worm farm, vege patch and lots of shade.

We provide nutritional, home style cooked meals, and cater for children with special dietary needs. Our aim is to provide children with the necessary foundations in all areas of development, to enable them to succeed in their future. We look forward to meeting you and your family.

A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
