At our Goodstart Early Learning centre, we believe that children learn best through engaging, hands-on experiences. That’s why we offer a variety of incursions and internal programs designed to enhance their development in a fun and meaningful way. These programs provide unique opportunities for children to explore new skills, build confidence, and foster a love for learning.
Our upcoming programs will include STEM activities, movement and dance, and sport-based sessions, all tailored for young learners aged 0-5yrs.
Movement classes with music offer incredible benefits for young children, helping them develop coordination, language skills, mathematical reasoning, confidence, and creativity. Our engaging dance and movement incursions will support school readiness while ensuring children have fun!
Through interactive and structured activities, children will enjoy:
Our centres movement classes introduce important concepts such as heart health, traffic safety, multicultural experiences, science, and more – all while keeping children active and engaged.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) experiences will soon be part of our Goodstart Watsonia programs, offering hands-on exploration that sparks curiosity and problem-solving skills. These activities will introduce foundational STEM concepts through interactive experiments, creative building projects, and age-appropriate technology experiences.
Our sports program offers a range of activities that promote teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. From soccer to basketball, children of all ages can participate in sports that enhance their motor skills, strategic thinking, and social interactions. Engaging in sports helps children build resilience, learn the importance of fair play, and develop a lifelong love for physical activity
With at least two coaches per session, our incursion programs follow the Early Years Learning Framework and are endorsed by a Paediatric Occupational Therapist.
Through structured play, children develop:
✔ Emotional resilience
✔ Confidence & independence
✔ Gross & fine motor skills
✔ Teamwork & social skills
We focus on building fundamental skills like balance, hand-eye coordination, and foot-eye coordination.
Warm-ups and activities introduce the basics of sports such as Basketball, AFL, and Soccer, helping children grow, learn, and thrive through movement and play.
