Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Maryborough and Babyworld is centrally located in the heart of the heritage city close to all the amenities and services which make for a less stressful daily drop-off and pick-up.

At our centre, diversity is celebrated and some of our families come from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our educators and teachers work hard to ensure the town's history is never forgotten and is appreciated by the younger generations. 

All of the team at our centre are qualified, dedicated, professional staff members. Many of the educators have been here for more than 4 years which allows us to offer a stable environment to our children.

We have a fully qualified teacher implementing our Kindergarten program, which is designed to encourage and develop school readiness.

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
 
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our two play areas have veggie patches, tan bark area, swings, digging patch, natural play spaces, orchard, fort, and lots of shade.

We are a family oriented centre where parents, friends and family enjoy participating in special events and celebrations such as Grandparent's day, Naidoc week and many more. Along with events, we strive to keep our families informed about what’s happening at the centre in person, via newsletters, emails and through open days.

Educators share information with the families about the children upon drop off and pick up. The program is on the wall of every age group room where families can see them when they sign them in and out. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
