Goodstart Point Vernon

Goodstart Early Learning Point Vernon has been a part of the Hervey Bay community for 12 years, we are the only service available in the Point Vernon suburb and pride ourselves on a homely and comfortable atmosphere.
 
 Our educators are highly qualified, with years of experience and a passion for working with children. We are a dedicated team of professionals who embrace the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) to provide quality learning programs.
 
 Our play based, stimulating curriculum and our rooms; from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool; are all geared with  colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
 
 Our Storypark platform, creates a connection between our service and your home to enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as sharing information, photo’s and learning specific to your child; directly to you.
 
 Our child care centre has a large outdoor play space with plenty of room for educational fun, including both a sandpit and bike track, plenty of shade and separate yards for our 6 weeks-2 years and 2-3 years. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment with natural elements; room pets, worm farms and fruit trees – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
 
 As part of our service we also offer morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea fully cooked and catered by our centre cook; these meals can cater to allergies and specific dietary requirements just talk to us during the tour or enrolment for your child’s individual needs. Nappies and wipes are also provided; all families receive a Goodstart hat and shirt on enrolment for their child.
 
 Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
